EXHIBITION
All the rooms of the former Villa dei Cedri factory welcome 45 portraits and a documentary which tells the incredible positive effect that the will of a single person can have on a vast territory and its people. A dive into the landscape and its people and the importance of safeguarding and protecting what nature offers us and how important man's contribution is in safeguarding the ecosystem.
The exhibition should have been held on the occasion of the Literary Festival organized by the Consulta per la cultura last autumn, a literary review whose central theme was change in its broadest sense of the term: social, economic, landscape change, with the aim of making people think above all about the power of awareness and education to face evolution. For organizational reasons, the preparations have been extended to this spring but it is with great enthusiasm that we welcome a project aimed at extending the importance of safeguarding a territory as wonderful as it is fragile" - comments the councilor for culture and heritage Giorgia Falcade –“The protection and conservation of habitats is a very topical issue, even our hilly landscape, worked and embroidered over decades by man and known today throughout the world for the product resulting from the fruit of so much sweat and effort which constitutes wealth for our country, must be cared for and guarded. The former factory will become a multimedia museum of the landscape and it is precisely on the landscape and on issues that lead us to reflect on it that the administration intends to focus the temporary exhibitions that will be hosted in this building."
